membership term coincides with AVLIC's membership term: April
01 to March 31. |

| Applicants
may submit their registration through AVLIC's website at http://www.avlic.ca/services.php?membership.
Interpreters renewing their membership must complete the online
application and submit payment to AVLIC by midnight March 31. |

| Active |
| Active
membership shall be open to interpreters who currently provide
visual language interpreting services and whose application
has been approved by the Board of Directors. Applications from
interpreters who are graduates of an interpreter education program
or who meet the defined criteria will be approved. |
| Dual membership
in both AVLIC and MAPSLI is mandatory for Active membership. |

| Student |
| Student
membership shall be open to individuals who are currently enrolled
in an interpreter education program. Student members must uphold
the objectives of the association. |
